Jack Rabbit is a neat piece of old American kitsch at its finest! I have now stopped here twice over the years and am already looking forward to my next pass through.
Great place! We stop here every time we're in Northern AZ. So many great scenic locations nearby. Painted Desert and Petrified Forest, Meteor Crater, Walnut Canyon, and The Grand Canyon to name a few. We always go out of our way to stop here as a nostalgic place to take pictures and a one stop shop for Northern Arizona souvenirs. Including Native American items. This place and Geronimo a must stop for people enjoying the journey. The owners are great people too!!!!
We visited here about 9:00 in the morning, and it wasn't open yet. But, it is still a needed stop if your driving route 66. They still have the jack rabbit statue for people to climb on and take a pic.
If your in the area, driving by, or need a destination, stop here. Don't let that it stands alone on the Interstate slow you down. You can tell that they take pride in their shop. It's well stocked, clean, and prices are very good. This all alone is very good, but the motivation for me writing this is the owner. This guy has good karma all around him. Please support this place.
Like South of the Border in the Carolina's, this is a must see must visit location. The folks who run this shop are great, the prices are fair and the selection is fun and eclectic.
This place is totally worth the visit! It has a lot of little nick-knacks and the man who was there was super friendly and positive. He also gave my family some places to make sure not to miss on the Route 66 trip. It is a little off on the side but it is totally worth going out of the way to visit. Plus you could cross the street and take a picture with the giant billboard sign!
